Can someone give me an installation checklist of what needs to be installed
(and in what order - if applicable) into a system that already has VS 2005
Pro., so that .NET 3.0 features can be used within VS 2005 (WF, WPF, WCF)?

Also, I need to know what is needed to work with the Enterprise Library 3.1
(besides the library instal itself), if anything.

Thanks!

Hi Scott,

You need the Visual Studio Extensions for the .Net Framework 3.0:

Thanks Kevin.  The documentation on this doesn't say anything about Windows
Workflow (WF) though.  Where do I look for that piece?

When attempting to install the VS Extensions for .NET 3.0 (WCF & WPF), I
receive a message recommending the installation of the Windows SDK for
Vista, so that the help files for .NET 3.0 can be integrated into VS 2005.

So, for anyone wondering the same question as my OP, here's what it looks
like for a smooth .NET 3.0 install into VS 2005:

1. Microsoft® Windows® Software Development Kit for Windows VistaT and .NET
Framework 3.0 Runtime Components

Hi Scott,

Did you manage to install the .NET Framework by the order you provided with
no problem on VS 2005 with Vista?

I am also would like to install .NET Framework for VS2005 on Vista too.

You don't have to install the 3.0 Framework on Vista, it's installed by
default on Vista.
