Hi,
Very recently my computer has developed a condition where it will not
stay in Standby mpode, either automatic or manual. It will go in to Standby
but will immediately fire up again within a couple of seconds. This problem
has only just developed in the last week. Computer is fully updated and I
have not added any software or hardware lately. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Rod.

OK, but asking a Windows XP question in a .Net programming newsgroup is
unlikely to get you the help you want.

To find the group you need:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?guid=1080912A
-26C5-7040-AFDD-2224A4FEB3EA

Then open your language in the TreeView on the left, scroll down to
"Windows", open and scroll down to "Windows XP" and look for an
appropriate group there.
