Sabotaging e-mails to friends

Can a hacker sabotage (alter the script of) e-mail a person sends to friends
and/or loved ones? I believe this has happened to me, but I have no
proof...yet. Now, the friend in question will not speak to me or even e-mail
me any more.

How is this possible?

wrong news group.

that said email identity is easy to fake.
just open you server account properties and put whatever name and email you
want there.

I sent her an inquiry with a light blue background and a personal inquiry
about a subject we had discussed at one time in the past. She sent replied to
the message, but the background had been changed to a white background, and
there were additional sentences of a very strange, suggestive nature added to
the message. Now she is really mad at "ME", and she isn't speaking to me or
e-mailing me any more. She told me that she will delete these messages and
not even read them anymore...

This really has nothing to do with .NET Framework programming.

If it really happened, then obviously it's possible.

If this person is unwilling to discuss the issue with you (by whatever
means...email, phone, in-person, etc.), it doesn't sound like she was
much of a friend anyway. If she is willing, then obviously you just
need to discuss the situation with her.

In any case, while your story is unfortunate, this isn't the forum in
which to receive advice regarding the situation. The situation is only
marginally technical in the first place, and even the technical aspect
does not appear to be strictly related to .NET Framework programming.
