I have installed .Net Framework 2.0 on my windows xp sp2 system but it is
not in the start menu programs. I need to install an application that needs
.Net Framework but everytime i try to install it i get a msg that the setup
requires .net framework.

any help?

Thankx!

it is does not install any UI components shortcuts in the Start Menu...

If you physcial want to see that it is installed go to Control Panel->Add
Remove Programs and you should see an entry for Microsoft .Net 2.0 etc.

Maybe - the setup does not require the .NET framework 2.0? There are various
different versions, you know.
