Still alive and well here, with posts today. I'm getting it from the
Microsoft public newsserver, msnews.microsoft.com.

It's possible your ISP stopped carrying the group on his newsserver.
If so, set up an account on the Microsoft server in your news reader.

I just check I am using the server as you. Did I mis-spelled the group?

not sure why, apparently on this network, despite the same
msnews.microsoft.com connection does not have
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.interop
while on a different network, I found it.
