Hi, I'm a .NET developer and I want to learn and understand what is happening "under the hood" of the .NET Framework 2.0 to improve my applications and transfer knowledge to my colleagues. The CLR, Garbage collection etc etc.... Does anyone know of any good papers or documentation I can download? Thanks in advance Hello, John! Generally whole Internet is full of such materials, as a starting point you can start from the docs that MS provides. They are in the form of articles... Take a look at ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/ ) You can also dig into technical articles archieve at MSDN... I was told there ws one good paper of about 1500 pages which covered everything you would ever need ot know. Unfortunately I dont know the authors name.
