Execute a .exe and additional parameters

hi, i have 2 questions, first, there is a function to execute programs?
second, for example, i execute a program with this parameters:
"C:\myProg.exe" -filename were filename is the name of the file that i want
to the program open, how i can make the program "Read" it?

Process p = Process.Start(@"C:\myProg.exe", "-filename");
