Can I use the VB Express version 2.0.50215.44 (that's what vbsetup.exe version is) with the March CTP of Avalon? I am currently running VB Express Edition Beta 8.0.50110.28 and I want to upgrade it but also want to continue Avalon development. Thanks, Richard One more question on top of that, do Microsoft actually bother to tell you which versions of which software are compatible? I have downloaded the May VB Express, Avalon & Indigo, and .Net framework. I am currently downloading WinFX SDK May. I have installed .Net, then VB Express, then Avalon, but the Avalon templates are not there when I create a new project. What have I done wrong? Or are those in the WinFX SDK? As far as I remember the templates the SDK integrates with the Visual Studio at least regarding the help system.
