Hi,

I am a mainframe (COBOL) programmer.  Recently -  I started my course to get
certification in c#.NET (MCAD).  Coming from a Process-oriented language
background I find it difficult to understand the concepts of object-oriented
programming.

What wud be the best  books/websites/study groups that cud help me make this
shift (to object-oriented world) easier ?

This is my first posting on this site - and any other tips / "things I need
to know" are welcome.  I can certainly use some help from all the GURUS of
object-oriented world :-)

Appreciate ur replies...

Hello Harryfun77,

Welcome to the world of OO and C#. I think a really good book for starting
out in boith OO and C# is Charles Petzold's "Programming in the Key of C#:
A Primer for Aspiring Programmers." This book gently leads you through the
concepts and Part IV is all about objects. HTH.
