Hi there,

Can anyone help me understand what the advent of WPF means for GDI+?  Will
GDI+ become obsolete or does continue to used for raster images etc.?

Thanks in advance

John

WPF is the next generation graphics framework. It benifits from alot of
stuff including hardware acceleration. It also houses a completly new
programing model.

Hi,

Im no expert on the subject but I think it will be concidered a supported
technology (no further development though) for some time forward while WPF
is establishing foothold on the market. WPF is indeed a promising technology
and paradigm :-)
