This question is about the AsynchronousInvocation Application Block.

I can't get the AsychMonitorService and AsyncProcessorService services to
start.
The SCM is reporting Error 193: oxc1.
The Event log is saying the services are not valid Win32 applications.
Everything compiled fine. No errors were reported in the InstallUtil logs.
I changed the Log On to the LocalSystem account instead of a user account.

Maybe the Async block work only on WindowsServer 2003?
I'm testing on XP first.
Thanks in advance.

Hey.  Did you ever get this resolved?

I have the same issue:

"Could not start the AsyncProcessorService service on Local Computer"

The other service (Monitor) starts fine.
