.Net & Visual FoxPro Problem

Hi,

I have an application designed in VB .Net to insert records into a Visual
FoxPro Free Table (DBF).  I have created a setup and deployment project from
within .Net to install the files on Client machines.

The problem I am facing is that it compiles and runs perfectly on the
development machine but as soon as I run the .msi on a client machine and
run it, it fails when it runs a query.  The error I get is:

"File idxstrippunc.prg does not exist"

I have identical versions of both the Visual Fox Pro ODBC & Visual FOx Pro
OleDB drivers on both the development machine and client machine.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am new to .Net so please excuse my ignorance.

Regards,

V.V.

Are you using OLEDB or ODBC in .NET? Can you post the query? Are you using a
UDF called idxstrippunc in an index expression?

Hi Eric,

I have fixed it.
I was using a Ole Db connection string when in reality I should have used
the ODBC connection string.

A bit stupid of me I guess.

Cheers,
