I have been trying to use Linq o SQL to query an XML data column I currently have in my DB, but it seems that Linq to SQL sees a typed xml column as an XElement, I don't want to get the full column locally to then use Linq to Xml. can someone point me in the right direction on this ? One option, for example, is to use an SP to do the query inside the xml column, and drag the SP onto the designer surface as a method *uesd* by LINQ...?
