Hello, nano2k!
You can only debug custom actions that are defined in the setup project.
Setup project generates .msi file. Msi file is executed by msiexec.exe.
So, in your custom action you can place a Debugger.Break() or
MessageBox.Show() call.
And after exception is generated or message box show attach to that
msiexec.exe process.
