Another interface that has disappeared from the Enterprise Library and I can
find no reference as to what to upgrade it to.

Do you know what I should do to upgrade this?

Can we please have a forum for the Enterprise Library - it is now a major
part of development.

Hello Mark,

I also didn't find more information on this interface. It seems that this
interface is not avaliable in the new edition.

I have answered your question about enterprise library forum in another
thread. Please refer to it. Also, you may also chek the patterns &
practices: Enterprise Library Blogs and communicate with our developer
deirectly on such a feature request issue:

Sincerely,

Luke Zhang

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for non-urgent issues
where an initial response from the community or a Microsoft Support
Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable. Please note that each follow
up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting

Hi Luke,

you have not told me anything I did not know. I need some help as the people
behind the Ent Lib are not answering.

Hence why we need a managed forum for the Ent Lib.

Can you please find out what I should do to upgrade this interface.

Hello Mark,

Can you tell me more why you need this interface in your applcation? Maybe
we can work out a way that can achieve the target without this interface.

Also, have you check the new version of Exception Hanlding Application
block? Is there anything you must do with IExceptionPublisher?

Sincerely,

Luke Zhang
