make sure your com+ component is a server not a library, check this by going into component services on the machine that is hosting the component.  From the component services window navigate till you get to your com+ component and right click on it and choose export.  This will bring up an export wizard, then click on application proxy option and select a location to save it to.  I save it to a shared directory on my network.  Once you have the proxy created, install it on the machine you want to use it on.
