Hi guys,

Really struggling with this.
When my PDA's (WM5) regional settings are United States my application will
happily show me exception messages, however as soon as i set it to United
Kingdom it displays the error:

"An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly
containing it cannot be found"

I've manually run the System_SR_ENU.CAB and the System_SR_ENU_wm.cab on the
PDA but it still won't show me the error message.

Could someone shed any light on exactly what cab i need to get this working
correctly?

Really appreciate any help.
Rob

You should only need to run the System_SR_ENU_wm.cab for Windows Mobile. I'm
supprised you didn't get an error message when atempting to run the
System_SR_ENU.cab.

Try uninstalling these, then let studio deploy it for you when trying to
debug.

Hi Simon, thanks for the reply.

I have actually tired that and it still didn't work! It's getting quite
irritating now. Maybe a reinstall of VS.NET ?

Rob,

I don't think re-installing VS will help, but maybe hard-resetting your
device will.

After you have hardresetted your device, try to debug your app, once
successful check that studio has deployed the correct System_SR cab file.

What OS on the device are you using?
