Dealing with low memory

Hello,

My Pocket PC application needs detect when the system memory gets below
10% and then warn the user.

Does anyone have any pointers on the best way to do this?

How is memory allocated on a Windows CE device? Is there just one big
block or could it be compared to a desktop PC which has hard disk and
RAM memory?

Also, how does Windows CE handle low memory as far as system messages
and running applications are concerned.

Thanks in advance,

Matt
