Hi,
I have the following configuration: one machine with Windows CE .NET 4.2 and
a handheld terminal with Windows Pocket PC 2003: on this, I must write and
read files located on the Win CE 4.2 machine: I've not found how to share a
folder on WIn CE .NET 4.2: is it available? Or it will be available on WIN CE
.NET 5.0?

Many thanks

Luca

There is no version in which you can *know* that a device will have the SMB
fileserver on it.  That's up to the OEM of the device.  If they put it there
in thier Windows CE configuration, then it's there; if not, it's not and
there's nothing you can do after-the-fact to put it there.

If you have the Windows CE 4.2 or 5.0 help, you can look up SMB Fileserver
and find how to configure it.  Obviously, the device OEM should be able to
help you, also.
