I'm using a 64bit machine for testing its performances
and I wonder if is possible to use .net objects (1.0 or
1.1) under WOW64.

In theory, WOW64 runs [basically] all 32-bit applications that could run
under Win32. The question, however, is whether it runs the apps'
dependencies. 32-bit managed applications require 32-bit  application
frameworks. I believe (but do not know) that the .NET Framework 1.1 will
install under WOW64.

However, version 2 of the .net framework is available as a beta pre-release
in 64-bit form.

If you have  a recent beta of win2k3 sp1 (better than about 1184), the .net
frameworks will probably install.  We are currently working through a few
minor issues, but give it a try, and let us know what you think.
