Hello NG
on some machines (NT4, but sometimes also new XP) ADO.NET/VB.NET-programms won't run when an access to an oracle db is necessary. The programs terminate with "General execption on thread xy.". .NET without DB-functions will run (framework and mdac 2.7 installed). The ORA-Connection with ado 25/VB 6 runs on these machines

.NET-Programms are installed without problems

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Pete

What version of the Oracle client is installed on these machines? ORacle
managed provider requires Oracle 8.1.7 client or higher.
