I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I have a remote ODBC (RDO) database
that I have no problem connecting to using the Crystal Reports Database
Expert but for some reason I can't add the database server to Server
Explorer. The server doesn't accept the same name and password that I use in
the CR connection.

Anybody know what the problem might be?

What version of Visual Studio are you using? What does your connect string
look like?

I think the problem is fixed. Not sure why I can't set up a server thru a
VPN tunnel but I was able to set it up as a data connection in Server
Explorer. That suits my needs for now.

Thanks for asking.
