My OS is Windows XP Home + SP2, the Email program is Outlook Express 6 and
the browser is IE 7.

I am presently unable to click and open embedded web links in Emails and
some desktop weblink icons.  I've tried 'system restore' but it doesn't help.

Is there an easy fix or do I have to reinstall Windows?

Thank you.

You'll get more and better feedback if you post in a Windows XP group
instead of in this .NET programming group.

Here's how to locate an appropriate group through the web interface:

To find the group you need:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?guid=1080912A
-26C5-7040-AFDD-2224A4FEB3EA

Select your language from the Tree View on the left, then scroll down to
Windows. In the Windows category, open the category for Windows XP.
There, select an appropriate group.
