Hi,

I really need help!!! I turned my PC on, it has been running perfectly for
just over a year now, and when i went to shutdwon, pressing the start button
revealed no shutdown button, only a log off button. I have tried to run the
command prompt but it says that it has been disabled. The same with regedit,
also disabled. i would really appreciate any help on this one. it is bugging
the cr@p outta me!!!

thank in advance

Is your anti-virus up to date? When is the last time you did a full scan?
Same questions for your anti-malware.
Sounds like you've caught something ugly.
Boot up in safe mode to do your scans.
If/when you post back, you'd be better off posting to a group for your
version of Windows, rather than to this .NET programming group.

To find the group you need:

Select your language from the Tree View on the left, then scroll down to
Windows. In Windows, select your version of Windows and find an applicable
group there.
