dos printing in windows xp

im running a dos program and when i print on an epson lq-300 printer, it
takes almost a minute to print. how can i correct this?

Try posting in an XP group, rather than in this .NET programming group.

To find the group you need:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?guid=1080912A
-26C5-7040-AFDD-2224A4FEB3EA

Then open your language in the TreeView on the left, scroll down to
"Windows", open and scroll down to "Windows XP" and
look for an appropriate group there.
