Hello,
I need to have .NET 2.0 installed on a production server which is
serving a website. What I am wondering is if the installation requires
or performs a restart of the IIS services during the install? I have
installed it many times before, but I can't remember for the life of
me...
Thanks in advance,
Sheel Shah

By my best recolletion, no. I know 3.5 does not, as I recently installed it.

I would install 3.5 instead of 2.0 -- you'll get 2.0 functionality and be
set for EW2 Beta and Release.

my guess yes it will,
after all new ISAPI dll will be registered in IIS and IIS loads then at
start.
