How to get application ID from asp page?

Hi,

Is there a way to get app's ID from a page in asp.net? Having application
name (from membership) I think I could query aspnetdb for the associated ID.
Is this the only way?

No much more than
select ApplicationId from aspnet_Applications where ApplicationName="myApp"
