not sure this is the right forum but I have this old ASP application that is sending ASPMail using the SMTPsvg.Mailer object. It has to use a remote smtp server that requires a UID and PWD but the asp mail docs never mention this capability i.e. their is no Mailer.Password . Is it possible to get ASP Mail to work with an SMTP server that requries password? I think you mean the product from: http://www.serverobjects.com they used to have docs online, and I *think* it supported authentication (despite what you're reporting here) .... check it out contact the company ... used to be pretty much a one-man show I believe .. and may still be ..
