I am learning ASP.NET and being a winform guy I cannot see how to quickly
use any of the 2.0 data controls to insert information.  I have used the
gridview with edit and that works great with almost no effort.  I would like
to expand this to inserting and deleting .  I have been looking for
tutorials on which controls to use and how to insert records assuming that
the app starts from a gridview showing the current records.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Not to sound like a corrupt MP3, but if you look at the ASP.NET QUICKSTART
pages, you will find excellent examples of all this kind of stuff.
QUICKSTARTS installs with the Framework SDK and with Visual Studio, or you
can just visit the online version at the ASP.NET Site.
