Get the username and password of a registered user

Hi,
There is a problem with the default SMTP mail provided by ASP
administration tool

so i configured SMTP mail and i want send the password to his mail
when a user want's to recover his password. The username and  password
are stored in an encrypted form. How can i get the details???

please help me. I hav the user name i want to sent a mail (with
password) to his mail address

The username is not encrypted.
For the password, don't recover it, but generate a new one.
