Hi,

i run asp.net application under IIS 6.0 (Windows server 2003 sp2) and .Net
Framework 2.0.

I read that .Net Framework 3.0 is released.

Should i upgrade my system (we don't intend to switch to Vista now)? What
are the biggest advantages?

Thanks
Mich

Yes - a few months ago now...

> Should i upgrade my system (we don't intend to switch to Vista now)?

It won't cause any harm to existing applications...

> What are the biggest advantages?

None of any significance as far as ASP.NET is concerned...

I wish I had a dollar for every time this comes up. .NET Framework 3.0 is a
set of libraries that are in addition to, and depend on, .NET Framework 2.0
Nothing in .NET Framework 2.0 is altered.  Could get the prize for the "most
badly named framework addition ever".
