Could you some tell me the difference between Image and ImageButton, which
one do i need to use if i want to show some picture on the html

Hi,

if you want to show some picture but no click event... user Image
asp.net server control..
but if you what some action with the image use image button

hi..

one more thing...
eventually both image and imagebutton rendered in browser as html
image...
but for imagebutton it render with a postback javascript method...
