Get around digest mode?

Any way to get individual emails sent to me from this group? Digest
mode, I end up just ignoring 90% of the emails.

if you are referring to using the Microsoft web-based reader interface, I
doubt it. Look in your "edit my profile" settings. If you don't see the
option there, it probably isn't offered.
