First, use the IIS Manager to delete the virtual directory or Application.
Then, delete the project's files.

The project files are in the project's directory at :
\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\
( unless you placed them somewhere else...)

Once you do that, when you open VS 2005 again,
you will be prompted to remove the project from the MRU.
