Hi

Anyone has any idea what new features are in June or July CTPs and also if
they are more stable than beta2?

Thanks

I don't know if there are any new features available, but my personal
experience is that the June CTP of VS.NET is much slower than Beta 2.

CTPs in general are less stable than betas since the betas go through more
formal and rigorous testing. Although, CTPs do tend to have the latest bits
and fixes. Not that this post helps you specifically with the recent CTPs
though...

once microsoft hits "beta 2" they usualy are done adding features and are
just working on bug and performance issues

I don´t think that June or July CTPs has new features. Once they reach Beta
2, usually the only thing that can happen is the opposite one.

June CTP fixes a couple of horrible bugs for add-ins (and that's why you
won´t see many add-ins, if any, for Beta 2).

On some systems (maybe those with Windows 2000) you can get "unspecified
error" when trying to run and debug. Another user reported that July CTP
fixed that problem (I am still waiting for the CD to try myself). On Windows
XP seems to work fine. See:
