timeout error

Hi,
I've a method in my web service..which makes a call to db
and sends back a dataset..
the query takes 2 mins to fetch the results..by that time i'm seeing a
'operation has timed out error' on my screen..

is there any to get rid of this error?

Timeout can happen in any layer. It seems db is returning the result but
front end is timing out

Try increasing the timeout of command used to execute the query.
I don't know the exact syntax but it should be as follows

command.timeout =30;

Also try increasing timeout in IIS.
