can dataset be created out of views?

This is an addendum to my previous questions:

If I have a view in the databse - Can dataset carry the same view? or should
we make up a view in the dataset?

If the question is unclear to you it is because I myself is not clear about
what I shold be asking. Could you please through some light on views in
dataset.
