Hi,

I have two files Service1.asmx, Service1.asmx.cs under WebService1 directory
and I can compile it fine into a dll and put it into the bin directory, but
if I change the name of the directory into WebService2, then it won't work.
What is the problem? Thank you.

after you rename the directory to webservice 2, do you also update the Web Application name from IIS Manager?

Since unless you update the Virtual Application name in IIS Manager too, the new directory will not automatically become a VIrtual Application
