this is the latest version of security update, the
"September 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which resolves
all known security vulnerabilities affecting
MS Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express.

from these vulnerabilities, the most serious of which could
allow an attacker to run executable on your computer.

This update applies to:
- MS Internet Explorer, version 4.01 and later

Recommendation: Customers should install the patch at the earliest opportunity.

While these efforts may be well-meaning, please do not post a security file or
patch as an attachment. If you must post such off-topic notices, just give the
URL to the Microsoft site, as MS does. Anything else is unsafe and users should
not touch the files.

There are just too many email viruses and worms floating around for anyone to
touch any "patch" found in a public newsgroup.

Important: Patch Windows *beyond* Blaster.

It has the hallmarks of the latest virus but the zip that was attached has zero
bytes. Something must have cleaned it.
