Hi all,
I have VS.NET installed on my lap top, and I'm trying to run the Pocket PC
2003 Emulator on it.  I looked up on the microsoft website, and found this
syntex to run it.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
2003\CompactFrameworkSDK\ConnectionManager\Bin\Emulator.exe" /ceimage
"c:\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\wce420\POCKET PC
2003\Emulation\PPC_2003_WWE.bin" /video 240x320x16 /ethernet true /skin
"c:\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\wce420\POCKET PC
2003\Emulation\Pocket_PC_Emulator_Skin.xml"

However, when I ran the command above on the command line, I got this error.

One or more files from the emulator for Windows CE installation is missing.
Please reinstall Emulator for Windows CE and try again.

Does anyone know the fix for this?

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi! Bruce you don't have to run Pocket Pc 2003 in that way. There is another
short cut way as well .

Follow the Steps:

Tools ---> Connect to Device----> PocketPc2003 (Default)
Click on Connect.

Once it is started go to Start--- Internet ----From View Menu Select Adress
bar and type the URL of Mobile Web Application

Make sure that you  type the url in following way

http://[ip Adress of Computer]/...........

I hope this helps.

I tried this method already, and got this error:
"Can not establish a conneciton.  Be sure the devicie is physically
connected tot he developement computer".

The hurdle I'm trying to over come is to not have to use a real device, but
to use an emulation for testing purpose.
