I'm having some difficulty installing the MMIT run-time on our web
server, since this is the first time I've done this I wonder if I'm
doing something wrong.

The web server is a Windows 2000 box, with the .NET Framework 1.1.4322
redistributable package installed.  I downloaded the Mobile Internet
Toolkit (MobileIT.exe) to the web server, but when I go to install it
I get the following message:

Setup has detected an incompatible version of the Microsoft .NET
Framework. The Mobile Internet Toolkit cannot be installed at this
time. Please see the REadme.htm for more details. The message makes no
reference to where I can find this readme, a search of the server's
hard drive doesn't turn up anything specific.  I've tried reinstalling
the .NET 1.1 redistributable without resolving the problem.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks,

Andre

Andre,

If I'm not wrong, MIT runtimes already presents in this version of
Framework, you don't need to install MIT toolkit in your web server if it's
using .NET Framework (redistributable) 1.1.
