I am using version 2.1 with 3 levels of grids.  Everything seems to be
working just fine.  I am wondering if there is a way to indent the
child grids from the parent grids so that it is easier for user to see
the master-detail relationship.  Basically it is to put some space in
front of the child grid.

Have you checked hierargrid's support site? Normally, this forum does not
handle third party component questions unless users are familiar with it.
