Hello All,

I need to manipulate a Windows application running in the foreground from a
script running in the background.

I need to send it keystrokes to populate text boxes, be able to click
buttons and select from dropdown lists, etc.

Will WSH allow me to write such a script and, if so, does anyone have an
example that I can start with?

If you know of a package or utility that already does this, please let me
know.

Thank you, Herb

Hello Herb,

I noticed that the question is also posted in microsoft.public.script.wsh
group. MVP and I have replied it. You can refer to that thread for more
information. If you have any more concerns on it, please feel free to post
there.

Thanks.

Best regards,
Yanhong Huang
